Even from afar you could see it.

They were intoxicated.

But,

Not by alcohol

Not by drugs,

Not by any substance.

But by the illusive perception of life.

By the galvanizing and blinding brain wave of society.

And they were not conscious.

The substance lurked within the dark corners of their minds.

Unleashed by society's oppressive forces.

Brought out to play by you and me.

By US.

We are the day to day birth givers.

We are the day to day nurturers.

We are the parents of ridicule.

We are the victims of our very own child.

Because we refuse to
